Hey Maura, the pics are beautiful considering they are not professional!  Where did you get the sandbox for your placecards, I have been looking for that for ages!

I updated my review with pics taken by friends/family.  I will update again later with professional pics once I receive them.

Hi MsSmithtobe,

The resort actually provided that box.  I had told my fiance to get one and he didn't so we just didn't take one and the Wedding Coordinators happened to have one.

This site has them, though.  At the bottom of this page they have metal and wooden boxes.  I really liked the wooden ones but didn't want to spend the money...

Maura-

Thanks so much for your review and pictures... Ive been down lately about the wedding and things not going as planned, but your review and pictures put a smile back on my face.  Although Im having my wedding at the Suites, it just reminded me of why my fiance and I chose a destination wedding.

Thanks Again and Congratulations!!!

Hi mrsdeloatch2be,

Glad it helped :)  But please please don't be down about your wedding!  Trust me, having a destination wedding was the BEST decision I've ever made (well, other than deciding to marry my now-husband)!  My entire family and all of our friends can't stop talking about it and what an amazing week it was.  With standard weddings you get 5 hours with all of your loved ones...we got several days!  It was hands down the best week of my life and I'm sure your wedding week will be yours, too :)

Yea, I agree a little too steep for me.  Maybe I will just hope the Suites has one lol.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has been in touch with Tai Flora? I have sent them many emails over the course of the past 2 months but no responses. I only received one in october saying they would be away on vacation until the beginning of november. I emailed them later on but still no response.

Thanx,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
