Hi PhillyGal!! I just sent you an e-mail to your private address, and I just wanted to give you a heads up. I tried not to send too many questions, but I could really use some insight from someone who has first hand knowledge of this location. Thanks!!

Hello everyone. I just got my confirmation for our wedding at the Suites on July 31, 2009. I am very excited because we changed resorts last minute due to the terrible reviews the mexican resort we originally booked was getting after it opened in December 2009. I must say it feels good to read reviews of the Suites and know that our guests will have great vacation.

I am having a hard time, however, finding any photos or reviews about any Suites weddings. I am sure it has to do with it being so new. If any one has any photos of a wedding there that they could post, I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven't really started planning yet, but my TA is going to be staying at the Suites the first week of March. She wants me to put together a list of things I want photos of. I have a heafty list already, but I would be happy to include any suggestions other Suites brides may have.

Thanks and happy planning!

Hey ladies! My FI and I just booked to go to the Iberostar Rose Hall Grand for 3 nights April 16-19. So, if there is anything you girls want me to find out I would be more than happy to. I will take TONS of pics of the entire complex, it's so frustrating trying to figure all of this out with out going there...I convinced FI to take me there for my birthday! Right now we are torn betweent the resort we had booked (which is a brand new small 30 room resort in Negril) and Iberostar. Way more people have RSVP as Yes than we thought & that resort could not hold them all.

Which Iberostar property were you thinking? I am going to have 50 or so people at my wedding at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. I have the wedding price sheets for the Suites and some of the options are only for groups of 50 or more. If you PM me with your email I can send it to you.

I can't speak for the Beach or the Grand, but they are both as large as Suites so I can't think of why 50 would be too many.

Yes! We are planning on having around 60 and she said it would be no problem. With a wedding of this size you would have to rent out the beach restaurant, similar to a site fee at home. I like that we have the ablility to do this, so it feels like a "real" wedding with no strangers sititng around and watching!

Yes, we had 100 people at come in for our wedding at the Iberostar and it is VERY accommodating for that many people. It is big enough that you are not going to be bumping into everyone every 5 seconds but small enough that you'll be able to find your guests whenever you need to... It was perfect!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
