I was getting ready at my bridesmaids room in the Beach and when Rashel got there they were going to charge me vendor fees. When i explained i had a room at the Suites Rashel said to go there because they do not charge a fee for her. I dont know if she has an agreement with the Suites or if she is just friends with the perople at the front desk, but when we entered the Suites they just said hello to her and let her go to my room, There was no fee on my final bill at the hotel.

This is what I'm saying though... Brides have had not to pay..but that was then, and this is now... when speaking with Nicole the past few days, and given my charge sheet, she said that YES I do have to pay a vendor for Rashel, and for her hairstylist. Its listed on my payment sheet. So either things have changed.. or there is some discrepancy along the way. Anyways, I'm hoping I can get it removed!

Just an FYI as this question comes up a lot. I have been speaking with Nicole and have my price breakdown for my wedding that coming up and she said YES, you do have to pay a Vendor Fee for Rashel Edwards. I have to Pay $200 for her and hairstylist. ...  I'm not sure if this has changed.. but this is what I have in my charges quote from the resort.

I don't know if It's the same as for the Beach, but on top of the Vendor Fee, you'll have to pay a day pass fee.  See the answer the wc of the Beach gave me (in blue) in an e-mail I've send to her:

"Hi,

My wedding is booked at your resort for November 13, 2013. I may book Rashel Edwards for my hair and make-up, but first need to know if there is fees charged by the resort when she comes.  For Rashel Edward, she is subtitle to a vendor fee and a day pass fee. Which is a total of $175.00"

So for Rashel And her assistant, it's a total of 350$ only in "resort fee's"...!

I asked this question last year when I booked and they told me that for vendors, you only pay a vendor fee. Also, this charge did not show up on my charge sheet.

If this is the case at the beach..that ridiculous! Not like she will be using the resort facilities.

I was told no fee for Rashel at the Suites but if you book her hairstylist you do pay for the stylist.

I also got this same response.  The reason was because Rashel does air brush make up, her assistant does Hair, which they do offer at the Spa.

Do any past brides have any advice on hair at the Spa?  Who are all of you using for hair? My concern is that they won't be able to accomodate all 9 of us as well as another bridal party from the Beach or Grand the same day.

I don't want to get my hair done at 8 am because there are 20 women in there that day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
