I'm exactly with you.... our number is looking around 100 but again we'll see! and i reallly don't want to have to bring things, that is why i want to get in touch with the florist... it's bad enough i am packing OOT bags and we are filling them when we get there but i just don't want to have to lug decorations, etc. and have to worry about all that - i just want it set-up and done for me!

We are doing a cocktail hour after the ceremony, because we want to take pictures after and we dont want our guests to just be sitting around before the reception. But honestly everything is going to depend on how many people come... we keep getting people who are saying that they are coming and it looks like its about 100.. BUT when it really comes down to it I am interested t o see how many people actually book.

I am getting married at Grand on 7/14, I finally sent my list to Tai Florist last weekend, it took them a week to get back to me with a quote.  They sent me a spreadsheet and description of everything.  I don't think you are allowed to use any other vendors except for photography.

Thanks!!

We paid roughly $1,000. I had a custom bouquet, 2 bouts, 2 aisle markers (transferred to reception), small arrangement for marriage license table (transferred to reception), 6 CP's, 2 mother's corsages, a replicate bouquet for tossing, and another arrangement for guestbook table. Given how everything turned out, I was SUPER happy with the price. It is a little pricey, but so are flowers if you have a wedding in the states and they do AMAZING work!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
