Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to let you know the issues I am having with the Grand right now. Apparently they have added into their contract (out of the blue) that you must have 60% of your guest stay at the Grand in order to have a wedding there. WIth this being said we may not be able to do our wedding here now because I do not think 60% of my guests will be staying there. Please let me know if any of you are having this issue! Thanks

Hey Girls,

Does anyone happen to know if there is wifi service in the restaurants? I was hoping to bring my laptop down with all the music I would like to use throughout the wedding, for the dj to use, but, will my wifi work at Aunt Ruby's????

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks so much, Laura

Ah! Sorry about the conflicting date thing but it's kind of relieving to know they have stuff together and know what dates are booked already! I still feel like it's so far away. Do you (or anyone for that matter) know if you take items for centerpieces and guest favors, will the coordinators set the. Up? I am wanting to take my own simple ones but hope they will set them up...

I know I feel it's far too but it will go back so quickly with Summer being here now!! I can't wait though I'm so excited!! Yep, you can definitely take items for centerpieces and favours and as long as you have them pre made they will set them up however you like as long as you give them direction (so in your meeting with your WC just let her know). I'm bringing some stuff as well and she said it's not a problem.

I was able to contact my wedding coordinator at the suites about our dinner menu items. I felt that it was a bit to adventurous for some people to eat so I asked if we could have 4 plates prepared: beef tenderloin, grilled chicken, red snapper and a vegetable lasagna. I asked if everyone could get a salad and a soup and she said the chef would be able to do that! So just contact your wedding coordinator with exact items you want using the menu list provided! Hope that helps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
