JamaicaSukie - I did not bring my own chair ties, but I would guess that they could just move them into your reception.  Because of rain, they tore down the ceremony decor while moving the site of my cocktail party AND setting up the reception....so I would guess that moving the chair ties wouldn't be a problem at all.

It's been just a little bit over a year since I tied the knot at Iberostar Rose Hall in Montego Bay.  We had a blast.  Here's is my slide show link that Sandy May, my photographer put together.  She and her husband, Pata, were wonderful to work with! She was quick responding, very reliable, and trustworthy.  I received all of my pics on a CD just a few weeks later at home.

Also, If there is anyone interested in touring the country, I would highly recommend booking tours with Ken Gracey who operates Doctorbird Tours!  He grew up in Jamaica as a boy and knew a lot of about the towns.  My small group of 20 booked several personal and private tours with him and felt very safe and trusted doing business with him.  He is so easy going and laid back!  He even drop me to my Trash the Dress site, which was a nice small secluded beach.  One great thing about Ken is how he takes pictures of you and your group during the entire trip and burns the photos on a CD for you to take home! You can search him on tripadvisor.

Thanks for the information.  This was so useful!  And, I love your photos!  If you don't mind, would you share the prices Sandy May gave you?  Also, do you have her contact information (e.g., website and email)?

Your wedding looked beautiful!!  How did you do the table decor?  Did you bring it yourself?  Did they set it up?  I want something classy like yours!   Also, did you pay extra to have your cake look like that?? It is beautiful!!

Hello to all future and past Brides, I have a question about the costs for wedding at Iberostar rose hall. I have the wedding details from Tiffany and Nicole but its hard to get in contact with them. My question is the cost of golden coast wedding is $2100  but its up to between 2 to 8 people but its say more than 8 people there will be additional fee of $18 a guest. I was told before that if we booked more than 10 rooms the wedding package will be free. Is that true?????? thanks for your help

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
