After touring the Iberostar property, why did you decide to hold your wedding off site at Hummingbird Hall?

Hello Leah22-all 3 of the resorts were beautiful and we actually got to see 3 weddings while we were there and they were very nicely done. I just envision my day as a more private intimate affair and I did not feel I would get that at the resort which is why I chose to have my wedding at a private villa:) this way I will get to have the private wedding I want and still get to enjoy the great amenaties of an all inclusive hotel for our stay!

I will tell you the Grand is definitely GRAND!! You will not be disappointed at all:)

And by the way just saw ur from Philly:) We are neighbors!

Marriage Certificate  - - - - - - - I just heard this weekend that the WC at the Suites received my marriage certificate.  They emailed to ask me for my phone number and current address to send it.  Hopefully I will receive it this week!  I was married November 6th, so it didn't even take 3 months, which is much better than I was originally thinking.  I think I'm going to keep it a secret from my husband until my name has been changed.  He is so much more excited for me to change it than I am. cheers.gif

I'm glad to hear that your about to getting your marriage certificate. I talked to the WC at the Beach and there was a miscommunication (she says) and she's trying to figure out where mine is. I'm having issues because people keep sending checks to me with my new name and banks are giving me trouble because it doesn't match my ID. I'm crossing my fingers that they get it straightened out soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
