Is anyone else having a Welcome Party for their guests? I think most of mine will be arriving Thursday and there is actually a really fun beach party at the Beach property that takes place on Thursday nights so I might just try to save money and tell everyone to go there. Also, is anyone having anything after the rehearsal dinner? I can't decide if I want to have a bonfire and dj or reggae band and party the night before my wedding or try to rest up for the next day!? Decisions, decisions!

I am going to do one.  To save money, I'm just having everyone meet at the lobby bar (or another one).

OMG Wendy 11 months??? I hope that does not happen to us. I'm praying we will get ours in less than 2! Were you able to change your name beforehand with anything? Probably not because you needed the certificate. What a joke that it took so long!

Good luck with your planning!! Enjoy it because it will be over before you know it.

Thank you for all the advice.  I am packed finally...list checked off...nails, toes, hair, eyebrows done.  Son packed...FI..well you know how that goes..hehe.  I leave in the morning.

SOOOOOO the biggest thing for me..my guest list went from 52 end of August...to 43 what I turned into the wedding coordinator.9/9/11   to 30 as of today...WTF...and the majority of the cancellations I found out about by accident...I did not get a call, email, text or nothing.

But that is ok...more money back in my pocket.

I have attached my wedding itinerary.

See you guys when I return.....:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
