Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

I would contact tai flora directly... Jodi-Ann (jmiller@taiflora.com) will set up a time to call you and discuss your decor ideas then she will email you an invoice...She will be sure to deduct the items that are included in the wedding package.

Hope this helps

Does that mean that I should contact Tai Flora now with my pictures for my bouquets or do I send my pictures to the resort wedding coordinator and ask her for the cost? I just don't want to leave it too late and then het there and find out that they can't do what I want.

So far I am only expecting about 24 guests. For about 50 guests I am sure it will end up being mostly private. I was just trying to get out of spending close to an extra $800 on a private dinner when the bonfire will be private and it is way less expensive.

That's what I'm struggling with, we're going to have (hopefully) about 50 ppl at our wedding, so I would like it to be a private dinner. I really like the bonfire though, so I was thinking about doing that for the rehearsal, maybe having everyone meet at the lobby bar and then all head over to the bonfire or something.

The WC sent that info with the Last Wedding Details information. I plan on emailing them directly about a month before our wedding to make sure it has not changed since I originally reserved our date about a year out.

Being a future bride I am not really sure...One thing I would do if I were you is contact the Spa and make your reservations for any services you will be needing. You should also advise your guests to do the same. I was advised by the Spa that they prefer we book our services in advance because of how busy they are.

Other than that I would probably email the WC and ask what info they need. I can tell you the WC advised me they don't start finalizing plans until about a month out.

Hope this helps

Next week I plan on sending down our birth certificates etc., but just wondering in the mean time what to do. Perhaps after our booking deadline for guests (next week) I can start off with providing her with a guest list and then request a last minute detail form from here.

Any other suggestions?

Did they request a deposit or can you just pay for it on the wedding day (or after)?

Of course the resort can go over last minute things with them etc.. but it is nice to know i won't have any suprises once i get there..  They have already responded and will be working with me.. so I feel more at ease doing it this  way also :)

Good Luck!

Anybody know what the highest number of people you can make a reservation for at the restaurants are?  I just found the dress of my dreams and broke the cardinal rule of not trying on dresses above your budget.  SOOOOO I might ditch the private reception if I could to free up the extra cash for the dress.

Thanks for this heads up. What's the best way to get in contact with the spa?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
