Oh wow I didn't know Jan's has a steel drum band. I'm using Jan's as my florist. Do you happen to have their fax number by chance?

I AGREE AND THEY ARE PREFERRED ON SUNGOLD'S WEBSITE. I AM JUST HEARING ABOUT JAN'S...LOOKING AT WEBSITE? HMMM I AM SO CONSIDERING. TIRED OF TAI FLORA. STEEL BAN FOR $250/HOUR SOUNDS GOOD, BUT WILL THERE BE A VENDOR FEE FOR LIKE 5 PEOPLE? YIKES~

Are you planning to have a plate set at the reception for the videographer? Did RG tell you if he would be bringing anyone else as an assistant or whatever?

He told me there would be 3 ppl altogether including him. An assistant and a tech. If we have a plate set for him I hope that is included in the $100 day pass AND vendor fee that we have to dish out for him. We already have over $1,000 worth of day passes to dish out for my fiance's family that lives in Jamaica that can't afford to pay for it themselves.

I'm also interested in releasing wishing lanterns so please post what you find out.

Has anyone used/know if we can release wish lanterns at the resort?  I would call and ask but figured it would be faster to ask you girls!

Too funny, was just talking about doing this with moh tonight!! I would love to release lanterns as well and was thinking about getting them for all our guests, please post what you find out! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
