We paid for the steel drums with cash before the wedding

We paid Marcia with cash.

what does everyone think about instituting this for iberostar rosehall brides???

i'm on a starfish passing schedule right now..BUT...if we decide to coordinate one here...i'd be happy to participate...here's what i was thinking...some of us are marrying at the beach..some at the suites and others at the grande...

why don't those brides who are marrying at each respective resort participate?  we could use the starfish as our 'something borrowed' and then leave it with the WC for the next scheduled bride...i bet it could work..if you're at the beach, leave it there..the suites, leave it there..so on and so forth...of course, you'd have to know 'whose next'...we can't just leave the starfish for ANYBODY cuz they might not return it to the WC for the next bride...

i'm eager to hear ya'lls thoughts on this?  my big day isn't until october so if i 'coordinate' it it won't happen until then..however, if there's someone with a wedding date sooner who might already have a starfish for their bouquet..maybe we could start it earlier...

please let me know how ya'll feel about this...

can't wait to hear from my fellow iberostar rosehall brides!!!

I am kicking him out the night before to go spend time with his friends and I plan on not seeing him the day of.. I saw on someones review where the FI took off with his friends for like a jeep trip or something and the ladies went to the spa.  I plan on sleeping in...hehe

I just feel like our guest will only be there 3 nights so y spend the greater part of one day divided? Oh well, this looks like another decision of his I will give in to. No biggie....it will probably be more exciting that way too. So on the night before the wedding Brett will switch rooms with my cousin who will be rooming by herself the other nights. That way he can hang with his boys and come and go as he pleases.

I am all about iphone apps, and I found weddingwire.com that has an app to go with it.  That had a very nice checklist..and you can add and delete things that do not pertain to a destination wedding.

Wondering about getting a suite for the day of for the bridesmaids and myself to get ready. Does anyone know if just having the room for a few hours would mean I would have to pay for the whole night? I would like a place for all the girls to get ready but if I have to pay for a whole night, I might just have it be our suite and just clean it up so we can enjoy it like it was new :-)

Also wondering if anyone has a good checklist they could share with me. I am about to send my SD's but looking for what I'm supposed to be working on next.

Thanks everyone and happy planning!

I put $400 deposit down for the Bronze package. total $750

3 hours of coverage, each additional hour $150

The silver package is $1250. 5 hours of coverage

I may have to change the package because it does not look like I will be able to make the reception private due to <40 people.  Which means that the toast and dancing which is what I really want to get will be after the reception in the music bar.

He may be a little pricey, but this is my second wedding and I let an uncle video the first one and was so upset with it...that I knew this was one area I wanted to splurge on.

I wonder if Marcia is good on videography? Have you heard...but Sungold does have RG on their preferred videographers...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
