Aww thanks :)  It makes me feel better that you have been there and still chose the Beach.  It's been great being a future Suites bride, but I'm sure being a future Beach bride will be just as fun!

The only significant difference I can see is with regards to the restaurants - at the Beach, you have to have 40 guests to rent out either restaurant.  At the Suites, it's quite a bit less. I also liked the restaurant choices better at the Suites, but in the end I'm sure it won't matter much.

Also, I don't see the bonfire option in the info I got for the Beach - is it still possible?  We'd love to do that for our welcome party.

Something else just occurred to me - all 3 resorts share the disco, right?  So what happens if two brides, at the Suites and the Beach, want to rent it out on the same night?  We're thinking of renting out the disco if we don't end up having enough people to rent out a restaurant.

Another important question, for the past brides, at the reception how many people were allowed to sit at your head table? Entire bridal party? I asked Nicole for pics of various set ups esp for head tables, of course we all know that story...she has yet to respond. Or did majority of you have a sweetheart table and sit the bridal party on each side of you?

starrysim...i believe the bonfire is an option as other IRHB brides have done it...but i didn't get it in my list of extras either..i'm sure if you ask about it then they'll provide pricing.

fyi..the restaurants at the beach are all nice...AND...if u stay at the suites and want to visit the cajun or japanese restaurants then you have to visit the beach property...that's how my fiance and i ended up going over there as we were suites guests last year...plus i went and met with Tameica and we walked the grounds, viewed rooms and chatted about all of the wedding info including wedding locations, etc...i was very impressed with the hotel and the fact that its so cost efficient won me over.

i wonder what they do if two brides want to rent the disco too...good question..hope someone has an answer for that one.

happy planning!  R~

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
