Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Yes, bonfire is $250 for 1hr for 15 ppl and includes open bar for those 15 people. So we really only had to pay open bar for an addl 10 people which was nice. Like I said, it ended up lasting about 2 hours and the bartender stayed the whole time.

I had vanilla on the bottom and cheesecake on the top. Both were good! Each tier is about 4 inches in height.

How was it?

What flavors did you get?

1 more odd question.  On average how large would you say each layer was in inches?  Jodi from Tai Flora asked me :)

The $800 is just to rent the restaurant. The cake is covered in $2000 wedding package. With an open international bar for 3hrs during the reception you're looking at $38 per person. No bar $18person. Wine and soft drinks are covered in the $800 flat rate

Bunch of questions for you knowledgable ladies. Looking at getting married at IRHB in May/June of 2012 with quite possibly a large amount of people (100ish). 1) Is the 800 dollars for Uncle Tony's private a flat rate?

2) for the wedding package, it says it's for 8 people with an extra charge for others.  Is that charge just for cake and things or what does that include?

I guess what I want is a beach wedding, Uncle Tony's and cake.  Anybody got a ballpark figure on that for 100 people?

I've read through all of the thread and I don't think anyone else has brought it up, but I'm going to have a lot of kids at my wedding so I was able to get a kids menu for the Rose Hall Beach to order from because most kids are picky. If anyone is interested let me know.

Paula

I would love to see the menu if you could PM me!  Thanks

Hi ladies! I'm now honeymooning in Negril so it will take some time for me to write a review but I had to get on to tell you not to worry about a thing. I had 50 guest and just got married on Monday. We spent a week at IRHS and it was absolutely amazing. Nicole and Tiffany did everything I requested. They work their butts off. I had a weekend full of events and they made it all possible. Don't worry about a thing. It was ithe best time of my life!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
