Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Hi Julie, I wanted to have a round table for the head table but I know they also have rectangles. We had 10 people in our wedding party so our head table had the B &G, parents and the Best Man, MOH. The round tables fit 8-10 people. I had table runners that were 17" x 9 feet and that worked perfectly. No sure the exact table size, I think it is somewhere in an earlier post though ( I think I posted it).

Was your table at the reception square/rectangular? How many people did you have in your wedding party? I'm having 6 people in the wedding party, myself and fiance included. We are bringing table overlays with us, but I'm not sure of the size for the head table. I'll be at Aunt Ruby's at the Suites, but I would estimate a similar layout. Any thoughts?

Thanks Jules and Princess J for your information. Those measurements are good to know. I was thinking of having the round tables for the guests, and the rectangular table for the six of us at the head table.

So far we have 47 people committed, and are still waiting for a few guests hoping for last minute deals at any resprt who will either stay at the Iberostar Beach, or another resort and buy a day pass.

I am so excited that I see you had your ceremony at the aqueduct.  I really want to have our ceremony somewhere like this.   When I asked my WC if this would be possible, she said it probably would not.  I thought about choosing HRH just for this site but there were so man things I didn't like about HRH.  We booked the Suites at IBRH and glad we did but I felt I had to give up the ceremony I had really wanted. I have been searching for your post on this location but cannot find it.  Do you have any pictures/information that you could share?

Thanks

Hi, I posted a bunch of pictures in my review along with photos of the Aqueduct. I had to book with an outside WC to plan it as the Iberostar WCs won't do it. It is very costly to have a ceremony here, it is $2500 USD just for the venue (e.g. NOT including chairs, flowers, officiant, etc) But for us, well worth it. All the details are in my review!

hmm, are you worried if you show up and no ocean front rooms are available? i hear they are limited........

thats a great idea for the guys to share a room! 200 for a sep room is too pricey!

Not sure about the upgrade price, but I'm sure you called the hotel or travel agent they would tell you. We are not paying for an upgrade we are just hoping they do it when we check in! Fingers crossed....

My FI will be staying in his brother's room or one of his friend's room the night before. We definitely didn't want the expense of another hotel night.

My FI was worried and thats why we just reserved what we wanted.  The only suprised we can look forward to is the presidential suite or whatever!  I wont complain about that one!

Did you still have to pay for the wedding package at IBRH? Did you only have to pay for your reception?  How far is the drive from IBRH to Cinnamon Hill? I emailed Almarie last night and she got back to me this morning but since the WC at IBRH won't answer any of my emails, I don't want to go ahead with anything until I know how much I'll have to spend there for the reception etc. Did you have to pay to have some pictures taken at the great house?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
