Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has been the the IRHS club on a Monday? My wedding is Monday May 9th and I wanted to plan to go to the club after the reception but am not sure how happening it will be on a Monday. I know that many of you brides have said that you went on a Saturday and had a great time. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated

Just wanted to let you know that I have the 2011 rates for everything, and they are all the same as the 2010. The only differences are the change to Tai Flora as the florist and the addition of having a bonfire on the beach or a "fire dancer" on the 'Services with Extra Charge' sheet.

Hey Angelin2010!

I get married 4 days after you on the 23rd!! I willl be there for your wedding :)

They only advice i would give you is don't sweat the small details as I've heard Nicole is excellent and will take care of all the details once you get there. I think that's why they ask for us brides to b there 3 business days before the wedding. If there is something you want to get that is not listed on the package details and might be hard/unique to what couples have done before that's probably what you want to focus on.

Have you already sent down your documentation?

My travel agent gave me a really helpful tip to scan the stuff i was going to send and send it to Nicole first so i could get her approval before i sent it down.

Hope this helps :)

I am having some trouble deciding on times for Ceremony, reception etc... I want to take pics when the sun is still out as well as when it is setting. How long does the ceremony generally last? If I do: Ceremony 1530, pics from 1630-1830 (while guests are having cocktails) and Reception 1900-2300 and then everyone goes to Club. Any thoughts? Will this work?

Yea, i definitely sent her 2 emails so far with no response, I'm hoping by 2/1 I will hear from her.  Otherwise, I will call.

Misee17, I had fuschia organza and I thought it looked great, I added fuschia organza fabric to the huppa for the ceremony and they matched well. I'll look for pics at home, I'm at work presently.  Both look good, just a personal preference.

Anybody want to share the experience with the wind outside? Is 5:00 pm the best time for the beach wedding with nice view for pictures and other hotel guests? So far, that is what it seems like.

Bridetwobe, our ceremony was scheduled to start at 4 but the minister was late so we started about 4:15-4:30.  It was a very windy day but it the wind was refreshing and other than some odd photos of my hair, it was wonderful.  we didn't do videography but a link to my photographers website is below if you want to see pics: wendy and mark, Iberostar under the wedding tab.

I know!! I called my TA in a panic because I thought these prices were fabulous my wedding is June 30th so these dates work perefectly for me, or so I thought.  They dont work for me because we got the early booking rates in October for Oceanfront suites and these prices are for standard rooms, but for people who havent booked yet, these are definitely good rates....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
