I ordered parasols from luna bazaar. They are very bright and in good condition. The only worry is that they may rip on a windy day. I chose the style with the swirl.

OH and ladies - I had to pay a $75 day pass AND a $100 vendor fee to have the outside DJ come. Which really sucked. Since the resort DJ has been getting good reviews - I'd go ahead and use him to save that money. But you 'Beach' gals make sure its the same DJ they use at the Suites, since that's the one that's been getting the good reviews.

If there are any 'Beach' brides that used the resort DJ please weigh in here. :D

I actually talked to my travel agent today and as of January 19th only one bag!!!! BOOOOO lol

But she also mentioned that its only a 20 dollar charge for a extra bag to that is GREAT!

You have been so quick to get back to everyone thank for all your help for us nervous girls!

Misee I really like your parasol.  My issue has definitely become color.  Coral and Tan are my colors but I opted for the Guava color at David's bridal.  Now unfortunately my sashes and table runner no longer match and I'm afraid to purchase parasols that are too pink etc.  I really did pick a difficult color :(

If you ladies are thinking of doing the 'drowned' flower centrepeices (flowers underwater) I would consider the fake flowers. They look real enough, especially if they are underwater anyways! But, shipping glass is a hassle. I saw recently that pussfootback is renting out glass vases. Maybe someone can ask what their rental prices are like? They are wedding decorators in Jamaica so they might want to try to sell more of their services along with the rental though...

BOOOO!! That blows! We brought FIVE checked bags with us (gave one to the best man to bring).

Well, just check that a 2nd bag is ok coming back from Jamaica - weird that they have different rules at each airport, but they do!

Also, since we left some stuff behind (my huppa flower arrangements mostly, I actually didnt mean to forget those but, oh well) we only came back with 4 bags (had two inside eachother).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
