Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

I am a June 2012 bride as well!  I contacted a travel agent right away to help narrow down locations and to make sure Jamaica was the place we really wanted.  Well after talking with her for a bit my fiancee and I decided on the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites.  My travel agent through beach bum vacations suggested we contact the resort now to request our date.  She said that since they only do one wedding a day it is good to get your date early.  We also had our heart set on June 15, 2012 so if you have a specific date and are sure Iberostar Rose Hall Suites is what you want then I say go ahead and contact them.  They confirmed my wedding date in about a week.  If you are more flexible about a date you could wait but if you know why not do it now :)

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide and I'm so excited to get planning!

Yay I am so happy to finally see 2012 brides on here!! I agree with burnison09 if you know your date book it ASAP because of the resort's policy of one wedding per day you don't want to risk loosing the date you want:) I look forward to sharing ideas and planning together!!:)

I'm getting married 12-3-11 at the Grand...they offered us great group rates and incentives for booking certain # of rooms. My friend that's getting married in Cancun refered them to me, I highly suggest you all hit them up for rates. Let me know if you would like my TA's e-mail address.

The glasses are glass flutes, standard champagne glasses, picture below.

Hey Beetee33, I am having about 16-18 people so we are getting married at the Gazebo. I really wanted to go to the Steakhouse for our reception but, I hear there isn't AC and May will be pretty hot. I hear the Nicole will finalize our wedding a few months before the date. So, I am hoping to hear from her by Feb/March. I am very excited and looking forward to finalize:) I am going to send my invites out in 2 weeks and I am going to complete my wedding registry with fiance by next week. Have you registered yet? What' location are you selecting to get married in?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
