lol - i wish i had the time to do that, it actually sounds kind of fun! i'm already worried that i will have to rush to get alterations done. unless you can get them done for me - i think we might be the same size! whatcha think?

seriously - i am sooo scared to try the dress on. i didn't like how the sample fit, but i keep telling myself it is because it wasn't my size, which is true. i am just hoping "my" dress looks better! you guys, i am sooo nervous!

I was the exact same way.. Even when I did my first dress fitting I thought "God I hope I didn't choose the wrong dress" because it was still too big on me.

Ann when you put in on all those wonderful feeling will be back and you will be reminded why you choose that dress to begin with. Have you looked around MN for a place to get it altered yet?

I know, I noticed that this morning. At first I freaked out, but I am trying to be excited instead. lol The problem is I have totally put the wedding on the back burner since we were focused on moving. I didn't want to order anything, or start any projects while we were moving. And now I want to focus on getting the new house all set up. I haven't even contacted Marilu at Dreams about my WD - I hope she remembers me!

As for the dress, I am totally hoping I still love it. And really, it doesn't matter, after what I paid for it, I WILL love it, and I WILL wear it!

When I was at my friend's dress fitting this past weekend (her wedding is May 5) I asked them if they alter dresses that weren't purchased there. They didn't, but they gave me the name of someone who does their alterations. I am going to call her.

TOTALLY! Thankfully, when I put it on I felt the same way I did when I first picked it out. You will too, promise!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
