:-( Don't want to board pets

Recommended Posts

I'm with you Tammy on this one! We just got back from New Orleans and had to put all 3 dogs in the kennel. Not only was it hard for me to leave them for that long, it was an expensive add on to our spring vacation!!!!! I'm actually gonna start looking into pet sitting services of some sort. Especially for the 4 cats that I will be leaving at home while we are gone!!!!

Good luck, let us know what you decide to do and how much it costs!

Tammy - totally know what you are going through! We have a cat & a dog at home & my mom left an entire stable of horses (I'm talking 15!) and a dog and 3 cats behind to go to Cabo. The best advice I can offer is asking a friend or neighbor to help you out. We had our next door neighbor feed our girls am & pm and take the dog for walks when he could. Cat's are pretty self sufficient, so I wouldn't worry too much about Morris.

We actually have people come to our house and stay overnight. They walk them 3 times a day and stay here from 7 pm - 7 am.

We used to take them to this ranch/kennel but they would always come back pretty skinny (from running around ALL day) and usually had cuts (our babies have really short hair and thin skin).

There might be something like this in your area.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
