I'm getting married in august at the paradisus palma real. I've heard that paradisus punta cana was no longer doing weddings. But maybe they have started again. I'm not sure. But you could try e-mailing the people at the paradisus palma real, I'm sure they would know since they are affiliated with one another. here is the e-mail that I have. They are usually pretty prompt with a reply. romance@ paradisuspalmareal.com

good luck :)

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am at the Paradisus right now, so if you have questions, want me to check anything out or take specific pics, just let me know. This place is amazing!!! It is much much more than we expected and the food, service people are perfect!

No problem... I am on a mission! I will post some tonight. This place does not have a turn you can make without finding a small private corner or getaway. There is a huge gazebo in the middle of the pools that has a building in the background with huge columns and looks very Venician (sp) At night when it is all lit up it is breathtaking. I could so see a candlelit ceremony in the middle of the gazebo (which is like 100 feet tall) You would only be able to get a small group of 12-16 or so, I would think, but oooohhh it would be stunning. Ok, I am off, talk to you soon!

It's confirmed! I'm getting married at the Paradisus Punta Cana on Thursday, April 17th 2008. I'm very excited! My cousin comes back today. She met with the Romance Coordinator and she took pictures. I haven't talked to her yet. I will figure out how to post those pictures once I can. The concern I have is we are inviting close to 200 people to our wedding. I'm not sure how many will attend, but this is a big number! Any suggestions?smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
