Having Del Sol capture our wedding was amongst the top 2 decisions we made in regards to the wedding-- comes right after deciding to get married in Mexico. I don't think I pictures of me always turn out that great, but Sol sure made me look photogenic on the day it counted!!

Our budget is $25,000, and we are already at $22,255... will do the complete breakdown later. What's contributing to the cost is the fact that we are paying for the 1st night for guests in specific room types, I have 5 children from a previous marriage that we are bringing along, we are paying for the catamaran cruise for our guests, and we are looking at about 80 guests...

Originally we had dreamed of having Elizabeth Medina or Nathaniel Thompson, however they are both over the budget for the amount of coverage we want.

If we can find a photographer we love for under $5000 we would be ecstatic!! I'm going to check out your photos tonight!! Thx!
Nate is AWESOME! (I have a link to his pro pics in my siggy) and WITH travel was WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL under $5000! He is young and a LOT OF fun! Everyone raved about him!!

Here is his email - nate.broshot@gmail.com
He is redoing his website at the moment so I think it is down right now, but it is License to Still Blog

He is the best choice I made for my wedding!

Pineapple bride - I'm considering switching photogs (not too happy with mine) I've been in contact with Nate, and if you are interested maybe we could see about splitting his travel cost since we are getting married the same week at DT if you wanted to use him.

We decided to get married in Punta Cana and told our family if they wanted to join us they could. We have 8 family members attending. So our wedding will have cost approx. $6000. Including rings, airfair/accomodations, OOT bags, dress/groom's attire and wedding package. Not bad at all I think!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
