And she did a reasonable job? Or have you not seen the end result yet?

That is an excellent price. Do you think you could find someone in Calgary, Canada for me?!

i have not seen the results but I think it will be fine...i originally went to them looking for a gown and they make a lot of dresses that were nice.... so I went back to them for alterations b/c i liked their dressmaking work...i honestly thought they were going to be expensive...i was thinking about cancelling but I am glad I did not...

if it comes back shabby i will let you know lol

That is a great price. I look forward to hearing about the results.
A bustle? I know I should know exactly what that means, but I don't.

I'm in Chicago. I'm actually working with a seamstress to design and make my dress..... she is also very reasonable. For a dress that I wanted to copy, lazaro, mermaid style, silk with swarowski beads shes charging me $1100 vs. $3800 for the one I wanted.

She will work with any budget. Here is her info:

                  Grace Designs
By appt call grace (847) 259-3950
                  Mt. Prospect, IL.

If you call her tell her Monika gave you her info!

I bought my dress at Eva's over the weekend and dress alterations there are 250 (almost half of what I paid for the dress).
