I'm at home watching Animal Planet's, It's Me or the Dog show. The trainer suggest Doggy Daycare if you leave your dog at home alone while you are at work. I'm wondering, is Doggy Daycare very popular?
What does this usually cost?

We used to doggie daycare with our oldest dog before we got our second dog. It was $25 a day and we would take him 2-3 days a week. Being there made him so tired that we didn't need to take him every day.
It is pretty popular out here.

We use doggie daycare for our dogs. Our place cost $15/day per dog and then $28 if we want to leave them over night. It is totally worth it! Our dogs come home so tired and it is so nice because our black lab can have an endless supply of energy and sometimes it is nice to send her so she can get her "ya-ya's" out!

we take our dogs every once in a while, I wish I could afford to take them more often, but with two dogs that's just too much money. They are so tired that you don't need to take them everyday. We had some work being done in the house over the summer and my landlord paid to put them up each day and they were so tired every night they went into their crates each night early and never made a peep.
I don't really think you need to put dogs in it, but I think its a fun thing for them to do once in a while. Especially in the winter when you can't take them to the park.
btw: many day cares offer seperate rooms for large and small dogs, we like that because our little girl gets scared around big dogs.

I've ALWAYS wanted my little one to go to day care,..its so sad leaving her on the deck when we leave (she has little hissyfits, and if we leave her in the house SOMETHING will get destroyed..). I've built a little oasis out there for her, and its every dogs dream of luxury on a deck.. but her being alone all day makes me so sad.
We are FOR SURE looking into interactive dog boarding for when we are away in Cabo though! Theres one with swim lessons (perfect for June when we get married), and a full day itinerary..she'll be so happy!

Doggy Daycare is huge here in Toronto - Barney was previously in about 3 days a week - what a huge benefit for both us and for him - great way to socialize your dog. Now that we've moved - we have a dog walker that comes Monday to Friday and takes him out with his "Friends" every day for a 2 hour adventure.

We also use Doggie Daycare when our pooch is going to be home alone for a long time. It's 3$ an hour. He LOVES it!

I take my pup to daycare just about every Wednesday. She loves it. It was a great way to socialize her as a young pup and now it breaks up her week so that she isn't home alone every day while we are at work. I take Tessa to our Vet (who also provides daycare) and it is $21/day. Pretty expensive when you add up how much it is per month, but it is so worth it for her. She is so pooped at the end of the day

31 booked so far!!
