10 Budgeting Tips for the Frugal Minded :)

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking it's very do-able.  We are getting married at the Moon Palace.

Out room will cost about $2,000 which is the largest amount.

I have been looking for cheaper plane tickets...they are going to cost us around $800.  I refuse to pay more...hoping to get less.  (we're from NY)

We are doing the symbolic, complementary ceremony.

We are going to do the ipod dock at the reception that's about $275.

That leaves us with $2,000 for photos decor, etc.

I"m praying it'll all work out!!!

Though I hear it flies by, we definitely have time to shop around and get creative!

I've started to worry about our budget but you are absolutely right.. I still have 11 months to go and plenty of time to be both creative and cautious of spending:)

I am just like this! I keep trying to remind myself to just say thank you but I always feel like I should brag ;-)

J-ME-- I have yet to find a twin date on the forum.. You're the closest:)

We wanted the 21st because its a Saturday and our guests could just leave the day after to get back home for work, school, etc.. But the 22nd is our anniversary so we really wanted to keep that date.. It's too special to us..

How it the planning going so far.. I'm just getting all the STD's ready..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
