We would like to keep it around $100pp for food and drinks- not sure if that's ideal. As far as location we will have adults, kids, partiers, non partiers .... As long as we have music we will have a good time.

Any advice, tips, photos, warnings, must-do's you can reccommend? An email address for the coordinator or anyone else at the hotel that can start giving me rates or other info?

I appreciate it,and congrats again!

Hi Mmack: Yes.. everything was amazing and such a once in a lifetime experience. I've learned so much with  this planning. I'm working on a review and hope to get it done soon.  Are there any specific questions that I can answer?

Overall... enjoy this time with you and your fiance.  It will be stressful but remember it's one day--- just the beginning of your life together.  Keep it simple... you don;t need too much decor.. we skipped floral centerpieces and had laterns only... I liked how it turned out. You're having a wedding on a private island. What can beat that?? It will be magical.. an experience for you and your guests like no other.

One last piece of advice----- don't sweat the small stuff---- If I could do it all over again I would worry only half the time!

I don't know about pricing but here you're looking at anything but the Bucuti as I'm assuming you want to be with your guests and you want the wedding to be at the location you're staying at.

Besides pricing do you have any other requirement? Total Privacy, somewhat private to not private with a few onlookers. Outdoor reception or indoors.

I know of a great DJ, I can recommend you.

How may guest are you expecting? I need his info t know what I can get out of the WP's.

Online you would not find anything like that. Is there something in particular you're looking for? As there is not really such thing as Aruban Christmas Ornaments. A few local arts and craft people just might have something but it's not a trademark thing of Aruba t have these.

Thanks for responding Bryan. When I was Aruba last September I bought 2 ornaments from a souveneir shop at the market place at the Renaissance Hotel. Something carribean like a palm tree, someone under it, etc. Any idea how I can get that?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
