I've never even posted in here! I think it's time we all do updates. I'm September 19, 2009 in Las Vegas. My ceremony will be at the Flamingo with a reception at rumjungle in Mandalay Bay. We are then doing an after party at the Panorama Suite at Planet Hollywood. I'm down to 99 days and I have sooo much left to do!

We are ALMOST done with the planning. All that is left is to email over our documents, get MY passport, and burn the music CD. I will be making all of the OTT bags the first few days we are in Jamaica because I want to fill them with Jamaican stuff. 95 days until we are IN Jamaica!!!!! YEAH MON!!!!

I'm getting married at Dreams Palm Beach PC Sept 18. I'm keeping the wedding pretty simple, so making all the ceremony/reception decisions when I get there. I still have to get my dressed hemmed, figure out OTT bag, gather and send the documents, and write some things in to the ceremony! I got someone to do all the music for me so that's a relief!

I have fallen out of love with my dress; so I am going dress shopping on Sunday in hopes of finding another one. I have to email my documents for our marriage license over to our TA...finish the purchasing of items for our OTT bags (that we will be putting together at the resort)...and paying for the loose ends (rooms, reception now that we have the food counts, etc.) I also have a few spa appointments to make, plus teeth whitening (July), Haircut (August) and Tanning (so I have a base tan already upon arrival!)

Now that I see my list...I feel as though I have a TON left to do!

I am also struggling to find a stark white linen suit for my Fiance. I have found a few people willing to MAKE one on a site called ETSY...but it would be so much easier/more convenient to find a store that carries them. So far, Armani/Brooks Brothers/Tommy Bahama, Perry Ellis, and Nordstroms are out.

What are all of your soon-to-be husbands wearing?!

I was worried about loving my dress any more too! I actually pulled it out the closet and put it on with shoes and veil to make sure and luckily, I still love it. Good luck with your search though.

I plan on doing teeth whitening too. How far out should I book that? OMG, that's another thing on this list!

I got my FI's suit from Studiosuits.com, Custom Suits | Designer Suits. They make custom suits for only $99 and they do all white! I posted his "test suit" order here http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t39694. It came out great! We don't have the wedding suit yet.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
