I am so sorry to hear this. I was robbed last March (while I was out shopping for wedding dresses) and it was a horrible feeling. The bastards kicked my tiny dog too. The only good thing is the police got all of my stuff back. I know how it makes you feel, just be thankful you were not at home.

These times are so tough without any additional stressors. I hate that crime raises at this time of year and more so that you were a victim of such a terrible ordeal! I am very sorry that you had to experience such a violating offense.

Warmest wishes with you and hoping you will find 2009 to be a much better year!

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.

Our landlord has stepped up to the plate (for once pretty fast too!) and replaced all our locks, and is changing the exterior doors to metal, window-free fire-retardant doors. We have also put bars on the windows that are easily accessible, not attractive at all, but at least we are sleeping better at night.

We have decided not to replace anything until January, just because many robbers will wait long enough for you to replace (about 2-3 weeks) and then steal from you again… That and Christmas time is the most popular time to get robbed, even with a good economy.

We have Renters insurance, which is going to help, except for the 800$ deductible. voodoo.gif The insurance adjuster is coming by this evening. The good thing about this is that our friends have been spectacular; they have been calling, checking up on us, and coming to stay over while my FI works Nights, just so we both feel safer.

Side note: THANK GOD MY WEDDING DRESS WAS A MY MOHâ€S HOUSE

2ND Side note: WHO THE F&%* censored.gif STEALS AN ALMOST EMPTY PACK OF BIRTH CONTROL PILLShuh.gif REALLY! There were only 2 left in it….and who does not know what pills look like?!?!?!? LMAO

3rd side note: PAPER TOWELShuh.gif STEAK?? VEALhuh.gif REALLY ARE YOU THAT GHETTO!?!?!?!?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
