Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas. At this point it will not be Merry for us, as our apartment was broken into Sunday night. smile27.gif Most of our presents including our 5 day old Playstation 3, and 4 month old computer were taken. Clearly we do not have internet at home anymore, so I will not be one here until after the holidays.

(They got in through the back door which was half glass, half wood, broke the glass, then they busted down our dead-bolted back door.)voodoo.gif

Everyone is ok, we were not home when the robbery occurred, and thankfully our dog was unharmed.

Hoping you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Oh no! I hate to hear that! Do the police have any leads? Was it an isolated thing or were lots of places hit in the neighborhood.

My mom's house was broken into in October while we were on vacation and in the last 3 months, 2 of our business vehicals have been broken into. It is such a horrible feeling. You feel really violated!

I'm glad no one was harmed including the puppy. Stuff is replacable. Still sucks though. hug2.gif

im so sorry! i know how you feel...our pickup was broken into last week and they stole our ipod which was being used for reception music at the wedding. it really makes me mad that you can't even park your car in the front driveway without having to worry. 1 other car got broke into next door and they stole their gps. 3 houses were broken into within the last month. we broke down and got an alarm for the house...this is crazy. we also are getting a gun of course safely out of reach from our 16 month old. i think its just some punk kids that are terrorizing the neighborhood. id love to catch them in the act!

Moral of the story...this world has changed from 15 yrs ago, every one is desperate in this economy...lock your cars and bolt your doors. Sad but true

I'm sorry thats awful. I am glad you guys are okay and especially the dog. There was just a story on our local news this morning about a puppy being stolen. It sucks having someone taking all that stuff but a lot of it can be replaced, you guys and the dog cant be. I hope they catch whomever did it and maybe get some of your stuff back. Does insurance cover it?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
