Anyone stayed at the Le Blanc resort in Cancun?

Recommended Posts

I was trying to find a nice hotel in Cancun for a girls' weekend and stumbled upon the Le Blanc. Le Blanc Spa Resort ~ About Us

The website is fantastic and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them?

I don't know if it is right for girls weekend, though a great spa and a no kids resort would be nice! DH and I might want to make a trip there together sometime. We were watching a show on the Travel Channel and DH was adamant that all of our vacations be to someplace warm and beachy. So much for Iceland! LOL

We are staying at LeBlanc for our Honeymoon after we get married at AZUL Sensatori. My TA said it's just awesome!

It gets great reviews on Trip Advisor and all of the literature my TA sent me looks amazing!

Let me know if you end up booking there. I'd love to hear how your trip goes!

I haven't stayed there, but I toured it a couple of weeks ago for my job. It is gorgeous! If you aren't a fan of minimalism, you might not be a fan of the decor. It's all white with mostly muted colors. There are also some blues and greens here and there to jazz it up a bit. There is also lots of dark wood. I found it to be incredibly beautiful. It smells fabulous too...like a spa. It was quiet, but there was soft music playing by the pool. It is a very relaxing place to visit...not a party place, in my opinion. Every room has a 2-person jacuzzi tub. Service is supposedly top-notch, however I didn't get to experience any of that. The beach was VERY nice when I was there the other day. In fact, it seemed bigger than it's been in most of the 5 years I've been living in Cancun. For an incredible beach, head down to Sun Palace for the day.

Just based on what I saw at Le Blanc (of course, I can't comment on service or food quality) and have heard from past guests, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there.

The spa is very large and nice too! The only thing I can think of that might be an issue is that most rooms (or all?? I can't remember and it was only a few days ago!) have only 1 King bed. For a guys' weekend that might be an issue (why are guys so silly about sharing a bed with their best friends??), but most girls don't usually have a problem with sharing a bed with their best buddies. If it is an issue, I'm sure you could request a roll-away bed.

Hi -

I stayed there during a vacation 2 years ago for a work event. The did a great job accommodating our group of 30. They planned several parties (socials and dinners) for our group. They did a fabulous job. The resort is amazing.

Here are my thoughts on a few things:

Food - fabulous. The chinese restaurant was so good I still can't get it out of my mind. You could walk into any restaurant without reservations/waiting.

Pool - Really beautiful. You could get great spots at the pool without any issues and the view of the ocean was spectacular.

Rooms - great. Every time we returned to our room it was cleaned thoroughly. You never knew what type of present would be there for you....amazing desserts, mints, towels shaped into swans. It was very cool. The turn down service is great as well. When you returned to your room for the evening the bed and lights were turned down and romantic music was playing.

Service - top notch. The staff really went above and beyond for you. Our concierge even packed up our things so we could have extra time by the pool.

Drinks - They had everything you could possibly want. The bartenders are so much fun.

I think would have a great vacation there. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Jen

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
