Wedding Dreams...

I had the weirdest dream last night. I guess it's getting closer to the wedding date and everything is racing through my mind - even when I sleep!!

This is what I can remember...but I'm sure there was much more going on than this...we were at the resort (pretty sure it wasn't the right one!) and it was our wedding day. We got married in a restaurant close to the cafeteria style line (don't ask!). FI and I actually walked down the aisle together. Him in a long sleeve cotton T-shirt and ugly shorts of some kind - apparently he didn't have time to change into his nice white linens. Our photographer (who I guess was my dad) was sitting down instead of up taking our pictures. Then after the ceremony I went about my way & FI went about his (I have no idea what we were doing & why we weren't together!). We did meet up later - but then I woke up! I have no idea what the hell that was all about!!! I woke up thinking - wow...I have to remember not to let that happen!!!

Has anyone else had weird wedding dreams like this!!?? Please share!!

Geez i know i had a ton of weird wedding dreams. especially a few weeks before. i started getting them like crazy. some more like nightmares. yours is funny though.

One i had i dreamt that i was working late and didnt leave work until 20 minutes before my flight. So i had to go home and pack, yeah i hadnt packed either, i was real prepared! when i got home i found out that derek had left for the airport with out me. So i was running around pulling clothes out of my closet and trying to find my wedding shoes. I was crying that i was going to miss my flight and i did. I then woke up.

I cant remember any others, but i had a bunch of them.

I've had several wedding inspired dreams. One was that my parents were picking us up for the airport in ten minutes and all of the sudden I realized I didn't pack any of my wedding stuff, only our regular clothes. I've had some other crazy dreams, but I can't remember them.

I've been too busy dreaming about the house we are trying to buy. But I'm sure that when it gets closer I will have plenty of dreams that have something to do with getting to my wedding and not being able to. I always have dreams about trying so hard to get somewhere and not being able to get there :)

Bachata, your dream was hilarious!!

I had one a few days ago. I was holding off on wedding planning because the wedding is in a few years, well a few days later I get a call asking why I wasn't at the wedding 2 days ago.

Boy did that dream wake me up lol.

I'm not getting married until 2012, but FH told me he wants to move the wedding up to 2010 and he wants to talk to me about before we do anything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
