Wynn, Treasure Island or any others?

Looking at having a Vegas wedding, I've been there twice but never looked

for a wedding site!! I dont want any cheesy wedding chapel-and looking to spend under $1k for the whole ceremony. I'm having about 15-20 people come and going somewhere on the strip for dinner. Looking for your classy suggestions!!

I don't think you can get something classy at a hotel that's not in a chapel for under $1k, just being realistic. Maybe someone will prove me wrong. Are you opposed to being outdoors? Valley of Fire weddings are beautiful and you may be able to stay under $1k.

Search the site, above right.

Check out the Flamingo. They have a lot of options under 1K, especially if you are doing a weekday. I think that is what we are leaning towards. My aunt attended a weeding at their garden chapel last year and said it was lovely. They also have their West Lawn for use or you can do it at the waterfalls poolside. I would say the Flamingo. I have been to a wedding out on the lawn with the gazebo.. it was gorgous. I worked with my GF trying to figure out which place it was going to be cuz we went site hunting. I will agree that Ceasers is really pretty too.. but something about the Flamingo won both of us over. It all just looked so natural and not placed like some of the other hotels we looked at. Depending on the time of year... things can be super reasonable and less than a grand could work. Check out the live streams that the Flamingo has on it's site.. you might have to dig, but you should be able to find every site they have on the property.

Hi!

I live in Vegas and I can most certainly help you with any questions you may have. If you are trying to decided between the TI & the Wynn, your best "bet" is to go with the Wynn.

At one point I was planninng on having our wedding here and I was planning on going with the THE wedding Chapel inside the Mandalay Bay as option one, the Chapel in the Green Valley Ranch Casino Green Valley Ranch Resort, Las Vegas (Nice place off the Strip and closer to the airport. about 10 min from the strip) as option two and Bellagio as option three. Bellagio is great, but pricey.

Please visit this website Las Vegas Bride and check under Chapels & Ceremonies. It provides locations on and off the strip. Please review and let me know if you have any questions.

Also, Green Valley Casino is part of 7 local station casinos. The other two nice ones are the Red Rock Station (is located in one of the nicer more affluent parts of Vegas) Red Rock Casino Resort Spa, Las Vegas and Aliante station (brand new opened last month and it's beautiful) Aliante Station Casino + Hotel, Las Vegas.

Most of the casino's off the strip offer shuttle service to the strip.

Ohh one more... a new casino/resort off the strip is scheduled to open early next year is the M resort M Resort.

Hope this helps!

Susana

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
