The Cathedral looks so beautiful already...We are wondering if we should save the money for the reception and not decorate the church. We will only have roughly 30 guests so only about two rows of pews will be needed. On the other hand I want the pictures of the ceremony to be perfect.......decisions decisions!!??

I went inside the church a few weeks back & I am thinking we won't do any flowers for the church. It is absolutely beautiful as it is & the pictures I have seen where flowers were in there for weddings seem to take away from the beauty of the church. Use that money for other things in your wedding! That's what I'm hoping to do for my daughter's wedding!

I have looked & looked for pictures of the church with wedding flowers. I will post the links where I have found a few. It will kind of give you an idea of what it looks like with flowers. One is a photographer's website & the picture is about 1/4 of the way down. The other is a video & you have to "freeze" the slide show to see the church. As I said earlier, I was in the church a few weeks back & it is absolutely stunning just as it is. There is a lot of shiny gold & from what few pictures I have seen with flowers, the flowers detract from the beauty. I took a picture & wish I could post it, but the resolution is too big to post! sad.gif

Sorry to jump in and go a little off topic but can anyone provide me with the full phone number of the Cathedral of Guadalupe? I found the phone number online but it doesn't include the area code. Even after searching and trying possible area codes, I keep getting error messages when I try to call. Thanks in advance for your help!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
