Congrats! I'm glad you liked MoBay. I just joined this site and I've been searching everywhere for a MoBay review! I can't wait (long way to go though!).

 

Question - do you pick the ceremony site, reception site, and flowers once you get down there and see everything or do you have to choose everything beforehand via emails and photos?

Hi Zinski,

It's up to you on how you would like to handle everything. You can choose everything beforehand or wait until you get down there. When it comes to flowers, you may want to choose beforehand just in case your flowers are a special order. RMB uses Taiflora. You can go to their website and see if they will send you a catalog. HTH.

I think you'll see on other threads on here that most brides here ended up deciding on the "free" wedding package and then adding on the extras that they wanted instead of paying for extras that they didn't need and then wanting more specific things too. A few people had even chosen another package and then changed their minds later to the free package. That's what I've done and I'm very happy with that decision!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
