Hi everyone,

So it's time to do my STD's for our out of town guests. I really like the whole magnet idea, and was just wondering what sites yall used, if in fact you did order them through a site. What did you like about the site / product or dislike? I googled wedding magnets and there were about a gazaillion different sites. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA!

Hey there!

We had magnets made for work from here: MagnetStreet : Magnetic Calendars, Calendar Magnets, Wedding Invitations, Save The Date Magnets, Refrigerator Magnets, Magnetic Sports Schedules and they turned out great!

I also like Vista Print: http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/welcome...x?xnav=welcome. I ordered the free jumbo magnets and they turned out pretty good. They are a little thin but doable for the whopping cost of zero dollars!

  • 2 weeks later...

I used Vista Print & got the oversized magnets! We just uploaded our own design. They may be a bit thicker than the smaller sized magnets. I loved the outcome & family members still have them on their refrigerators.

If you want an idea of how they are definitely order their packet & you'll get a free sample.

I couldn't beat getting them for FREE.

I used vistaprint as well. I just used one of their templates and tweaked the colors on it. worked out well and they were a good price too! The printing quality on them is good but the I must admit the acutal magnets are a bit on the thin side. No biggie on that though...they stick to the fridge just fine!

I am now using VistaPrint also..

But just a warning, do not use MagnetQueen.. They sent me a free sample and it looked great. I uploaded my picture and they were supposed to add text to it. I paid extra to rush order it and instead of getting it in one week like it said, it took almost 3 weeks - and then it looked like crap. The picture was so dark you couldn't even tell it was us. When I called to ask what happened, the manager was really rude to me - telling me he "fixed my picture." He then went on to lecture me about picture quality and told me I had no idea what I was doing with photoshop or about the quality of a picture and this picture was improved. He kept telling me how the color of my fiance's shirt was so much richer in this "fixed" version and blamed our darkened appearance on the quality of my picture, even though I had the same picture printed out on my photo printer and it looked great..

Sorry to vent, but anyway -

save your money and aggrevation - Don't use magnet queen!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
