HELP Grand Palladium Brides!!!!

Amen sisters! I am getting married may 26 2009, we almost have the week full. Try calling we made at least 35 international calls plus many emails in the last two weeks to get a hold of her .(got one question of many answered)v it seems i have a been told differnt things as well.

I was told with the middle package $1800 you had to use a preset menu from one of the a la cartes with the caribbean $ 2000 you have a chice of upgraded special wedding menus.

 

Does any one know what the standard site decor looks like?

I have a very small group and have been given the choice of blue lagoon or the beach resturant, any thoughts ihve have asked for pics but........i guess i need to get physco again and make 35 more calls

Your best bet is to call Jascynthia directly, as the wedding packages have changed several times since some of us booked, but this link will help you too.

Have you gotten any info about the ceremony details? I just started working on my programs and I'm not sure what order to put things in? I need to send Jascythina an email to see if she knows the officiants name and the name of the steele drum band etc......

 

Let me know if you get any info.......I can't believe we will be in Jamaica in less than 2 months!!!!!! I still have so much to do!!

So exciting! We can now say we're getting married NEXT MONTH!

I haven't seen any ceremony details yet (officiant's name, order of ceremony)-- if you get that info, please share. :-)

We were thinking about getting the steel drum band for at least part of our reception, but found out that they are the entertainment on the main stage every Friday (all of our guests will be there), so now weighing other options......

We are leaving on Friday and our Ceremony is on Monday! I've never felt this unprepared for anything!

Regardless, from my lessons learned trying to deal with GPL and Jascynthia is that in an email I ask each question I have in number form. She might take a week to respond (which is so painful) but everything gets answered. If you throw a question here and there, sometimes you'll only get 1 or 2 answers.

FYI - knowing we're only 9 days away to the ceremony, I still haven't selected my cake, meals, flowers, etc.

I've asked about it several times and now was told I should find a picture of a cake I'd like, still waiting for a quote for extra flowers (for the men, Maid of Honour, Mother of Bride, etc.)....

 

I really believe (and have been trying to find the email of the GM to ask this question to him), when you sign up and pay your deposit they should email, fax or even regular mail forms back to you with specific information based on the package you requested:

ie. Choice of meals (tick these boxes)

type of Flowers Bouquet (tick one box)

type of Flower Boutinerre (tick one box)

Cake Flavour (tick one box)

etc .......

This would make it a lot easier for both Jascynthia and us, so we BOTH know what to expect.

 

Well, if anyone feels like their not organized, I'm sure I can make you feel lots better!!! When we get there, I know it will all be fine! ..... I hope!
