Personalized M&Ms

Recommended Posts

We aren't planning on giving all the little gift things that most people here are giving (We didn't even realize most of this stuff until we saw them here). But I am planning on surprising my fiancee by getting these personalized M&Ms made. You can choose form a bunch of colors and get 2 different pictures and 2 different sayings added to them. I figure it's kind of funny seeing that our names both start with M.

Has anyone made personalized M&Ms before?

I think that would be really cute! My fiance' actually proposed to me via personalized M&Ms...he had "Will you" and "Marry Me?" printed on two different colors. He proposed without a ring, so he had to figure out some other way to do it! It was really cute.

Anyway, he had no problems ordering them (it's really easy), but you do have to order a minimum of three bags I believe...so it's not cheap. We just kept the leftovers in the freezer and munched on them for a couple of months. I say do it!

What a cute way to propose!

I wanted to do personalized m&m's too...my friend got them for her bf for their one year anniversary and I thought they were adorable! Plus I love m&m's. But I think our favors are going to be little s'mores kits instead. I love this idea though! You should totally do it!

This thread was dead for so I was shocked to come back and see all the replies!

Futureeileen...that's an awesome story. I now wish I would have thought of the M&Ms when I originally proposed.

I am not sure yet what to get written on them. I was just thinking our names on one and our wedding date on another. Plus, you can get pictures on them too so I was going to put a picture of each of us.

I'm not going to order them until the closer to the wedding though. I really like M&Ms so I can't wait to see how they turn out.

We did these with our names and wedding date. They come all sealed up and we did not open them until we got to Mexico.

We put them out at each place setting. The humidity in PV made them a little sticky but nothing bad. I would just make sure you don't open them until the last minute.

Here's a picture - not a great picture, but like I said we didn't open the bag until we got to Mexico. Then we put them in little organza bags

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
