Everyone from our group thought the scales were off in Jamaica. I didn't have to pay but a lot of people from our group did. One said she didn't take anything more back and she was over coming back and under going down. With our 6 hour delay and the charges of over $200/couple for some of our guests they were pissed.

You guys totally got the shaft. The rest of our group was on your flight back and there was absolutely NO reason why you guys couldn't have stayed at the resort for the delay. According to people in our group, they knew about the delay the night before.
Is anyone in your group going to complain and try to get some of their money back

I hope you missed the rain...we just did ..it held off for us :)
Nope...I got the rain (a whole 48 hours of it starting the night before the wedding!!). So, no wedding at the gazebo, but it was a nice ceremony on the dining room terrace. (I still want a do-over wedding!!) Anyway, I'm slowing getting over the less than ideal wedding - the main thing is that we are married - and we still had fun regardless of the rain!

Oh...I wanted to find out from everyone if they are still good for Feb.21st?? Can we all check in again for a final count?? Right now I have myself, Tanya, Angela & Kayte. Is there anyone elsehuh.gif

DH actually suggested having everyone over at the house, so it looks like we're hot tubbing ladies!! WOOHOO!! woot2.gif

I'll have to double check with him again to make sure he can still make plans to be out of the house, but I don't think it will be a problem!

YAY girls night!!

Wow that's nice. We asked the sunquest lady before we got on the bus and she said nothing. There were at least 75 people from ROR who got on the two shuttles and no one knew until we got to the airport. I told my travel agent about it and is looking into it with sunquest which apparently takes 8 weeks. Great customers service eh.

That sucks about the rain. It rained for us too but at least it stopped. It is good luck though!

Booo!! That sucks!!! You'll have to come next time then! (I'm sure we will be doing these semi-frequently. I mean, who can resist a girls night!)

Yeah...that's what they kept telling me about the rain! So far, so good - but it is only into the second week!! LOL

How was the move Tan??

Sorry I've missed so much. The move went well, the kids behaved and other than a shit load of boxes to unpack the house looks good. We are renting right now and there have been a few issues - crappy fridge, upstairs shower isn't working and no side door key (which will be used as our main entrance) - and to top it all off I am now a single lady with Jeff back in Hamilton. I am also working a 5am-1pm shift which is going to screw me over for child care starting next week. Anyone know of someone looking to babysit in the mornings lol!!

Jeff doesn't have a store in London yet. So, he is staying with my old boss and coming back to London on the weekends. He did apply for a new store opening in Stratford and although it's not in London it's still a heck of alot closer!!

I'm still on for the 21st..not sure I can do the hot tub though..I don't look good in any type of swimwear lol

I'll do my best to catch up on posts as soon as I get home...

Hopefully he finds something soon!! You must be going crazy!!! Is your work not flexible?? Can you explain to them your temporary situation??

It's going to be all girls & I'm pretty sure none of us care what you look like in a swimsuit!! And for that matter you can wear shorts & a t-shirt! Or we don't have to hot tub at all. I have Rock band too!! :) (I'm super excited!!)

Ive never played Rockband or Guitar Hero -- yeah, I know that's sad. Apparently Ive been living under a rock for the last few years... oh wait, that rock is called Ingersoll.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
