Tonight we are booking our trip "home" to Newfoundland this summer. We are both newfies & we're going home to have a backyard BBQ to celebrate our marriage! We'll be going the last week of July & I'm super excited!! Only 164 more sleeps!! LOL

 

We were going to go to Mexico this fall, but a friend of ours is getting married there in January, so we just might wait until then to go!

 

Oh...I need a vacation!! LOL

I'm around too but just coming down from all the wedding hype and coming back to reality. Been trying to get my name changed but can't do much without the certified marriage license (the one that comes from Jamaica).

How is everyone doing?? I've got a lot going on at work so that is kinda putting me in a bummer....wanna go back to jamaica where i can say NO Problem!!! Imagine living there?? Your stress would be nil.

Things are ok here..I'm definetly doing better this week but it's only Tuesday! I'm getting unpacked..slowly..I'm not as motivated during the week but when Jeff is here I get a lot done. Job is good..I will be off the 5-1 shift starting next week and I'll be working 7am-3pm. I'm in the midst of interviewing for child care...so far so good. Jeff has applied for a store in Stratford but hasn't heard much yet. He did get a reply from the DM and I personally think he will get an interview..when I don't know. I've adjusted well to being a married single mom..how awful is that LOL

We will be taking a trip in November - anniversary. The thing that sucks is that the weather isn't that great in November but realistically I can't get time off otherwise..and the same applies for Jeff. So November it is! We haven't decided where to go yet..we will decide on whatever is cheapest last minute

Costa Rica sounds nice...ohh I need some sun!!

Hello ladies...

It's only about a week away from our get together & I wanted to touch base & see where we stand. Tanya & Kayte are in...is there anyone else?? Angela, did you find out if you're working yet??

So, what are the plans then? My house is open. I've kicked Jeff out for the night, so the house is all ours (well, & Killick's too!). I can cook, or we can go out, or we can order in - it really doesn't matter to me. Are you girls planning on staying over - you're more than welcome and it is actually strongly encouraged so we can all have a few drinks!! I have a hot tub & Rockband - after that I'm stumped! Any other ideas are welcome...please!!! I'm getting excited!!!

I will be talking to Jeff this week about it. I'm stumped too on what to do. I personally think ordering something is a better idea..who wants to cook etc on a Saturday night.
