Morning! Merry Christmas to all. I am exhausted from all the family gatherings. It was nice we got some luggage for Christmas which was much needed. The best gift was my neice was born. She is adorable and has a little cone head. I am working New Years so there won't be much fun for me.

 

The girl who was planning my bacholorette decided to cancel. It wasn't my MOH cause she doesn't live in Toronto. I am ticked. I don't want to ask someone else to throw it. Anyway I am off to go see if I can find some deals at the Gap. I saw tank tops on sale before Christmas. Santa didn't get the hint that they would be nice for my stocking so I am going SHOPPING!

Good luck with the bargain hunting!! I was at Old Navy last week & they had $6 tanks...a bought a bunch of them!! I'm still looking for transfers to put on them for me & my MOH. Have any of you used the ones where you make a design on your computer then print on the transfer paper? I'm wondering how that holds up. I think that's what I'm going to do.

Amanda - keep me posted on the iron on transfers. I want to put our wedding monogram on the backs of our Tshirts for the Buck n' Doe. Im not very DIY-inclined...

Glad the everyone survived the holidays. Now its on to wedding time!!! We are two weeks and two days out ladies! I really can't believe it.
Shitty deal that your bachelorette was cancelled christine...what a dirtbag. Pick a day and just get loaded...it can be the pre-jamaica warm up. Did u get the drink tickets in your sunquest package?? We got two....I'll be having a couple before we arrive!!!

We fly the 17th too at 6:30 am but its a saturday. We gotta be at the airport at 4am (ugh) ..so if you are actually flying the same day and time, I may tour around and take a look for ya and wish you a good trip in person . I'm sure I won't be able to sit still.
Anyone gotten wedding gifts yet?? I can't believe how generous people are considering we are having a destination wedding. anyone else experiencing this??

Yeah...the early check in time sucks!!! We're going to stay in a hotel near the airport the night before. You guys are too right?? What hotel!?? We're thinking the Sheraton right at Term.3 just for convenience!

 

I'm sure I won't be the only girl there carry a big garment bag!! Look for a big tall bald guy! That's Jeff! He's really easy to find!!

Just look on the board for Skyservice to Puerta Plata at 6:15!! I'll be at that gate!! I'll send you a pic closer to when we leave anyway!! WOOHOO!! It will be great to see you guys off in person!! Maybe we can all go in the bathroom & try on our dresses for each other!!

Well you keep your eye out too. What I might do is maybe grab Christene and we will both come find ya. It will be nice to put some face to names and meet some of these girls I have been talking with. There are a few at ROR I would like to have a drink with as well. Should be interesting.
I at least wanna see your dress before you go...*lol* putting it on might be a feat but even just seeing it would be great.
Have you starting to pack yet?? I think that is gonna be my project after the weekend is over..soo much to remember to bring and I think I'm gonna try and cram all the wedding stuff I need onto carry on..good lord *lol*

I think I'm going to start packing this weekend. Jeff's working Saturday day & night so it will give me some free time! I'm not planning on going over with my luggage or paying for extra, so I'm going to distribute anything that won't fit or is too heavy to my other guests out of TO. My mom is coming the week before the wedding and we're meeting up with 7 other people so I"m going to tell them to leave room in their carry on bags for some of my crap!! You should definitley look at doing the same! I know I would never fit all of my wedding stuff in my carry on!!

Yay!! I can't wait to meet you guys!! You're right - it will be great to put actual faces to all the friends who've helped us along the way!! I feel like getting everyone's mailing addy's so I can send out Thank you cards!! LOL
