Hello ladies!!

I'm so glad christmas is done..it's been a busy month! I didn't get anything for christmas (other than my stocking) as Jeff and I decided not to exchange gifts this year. The kids got spoiled of course!!

I'm back to work tomorrow for the week sad.gif and going crazy trying to find a house in London!

Amanda ~ NICE!! I got bling last year..was hoping for some diamond earrings this year but you know...I'm glad your turkey turned out!!

I'll post another GTKY tomorrow!

Yeah...he's a keeper for sure!!! I think he's really stumped on what to get me for occasions so I almost always end up with jewellery!! I'm definitely not complaining about that!! lol
Hell no, the bling is always a good thing! I wouldn't be complaining at all!
Now on to the New Years festivites..what is everyone doing?? We are having low key this year due to my bachelorette being the next day (I have a mega crappy boss who scheduled me to work the next day...dear lord). Just gonna hang out with some friends and have a couple drinks!!

Nothing for New Years..yet!
Jeff is working until 11:30, but that could get extended since NYE is one of their busy nights (he's one of Waterloo Regional's finest!) If he gets home in time we might go to one of our friends for a party, but we'll see. He might just get home & find me in the hot tub already celebrating without him!! LOL

Tan,
Good luck with house hunting!!! Let me know when we can get together so I can get those parasols! Less than 3 weeks until takeoff!! WOOOHOOOO!!!

Hi Ladies!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I was off from the 24th until now - back at work.. grrr.. but we had a lovely Christmas. It was a bit different than years past, but still nice.

We don't exchange gifts, but we did exchange our stockings as usual. Lots of goodies there, which will certainly help to add a pound or two to my waistline.. haha!

Our plans for NYE include hosting our friends at our place. It's tradition now, so most of them expect to come over. How could we disappointhuh.gif wink.gif

We love hosting, so it will be a great time I think!

That sounds nice Shelley!! I love hosting too...but it usually always stresses me out - especially when Jeff doesn't help out getting the place cleaned up!!! Grrrr!!!!

I'm back to work today too...it sucks! I'm the only one in my department & I'm getting all the shitty phone calls!! They'll all find out when they get back to work & I've got everything effed up! hahaha

Oh...I forgot to tell everyone in my earlier post that I got some news on Christmas day. My MOH is pregnant!!! elefant.gif She will still be able to make the wedding though - she just hopes her dress will still fit!! HAHAHA Luckily it's just her & if she has to find a new dress than no biggy!! I'm so happy for her - a little PO'd that she won't be able to drink with me for my wedding (she's such a fun drunk!!) - but that's just me being selfish! She actually held off trying to get prego during times when it wouldn't allow her to make it to the wedding so I can't get mad at her!! The only thing now is that I may put off my AHR that I was planning for the beginning of August to Christmas so that I'll be able to see the baby!! I won't be able to do both trips & I would definitely like to see the baby!!! She's due the middle/end of August so I might even hold out until labour day weekend...but I've still got time to figure that out. Anyway...that's enough out of me - for this morning anyway!! hahaha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
