If you are worried about sizing first read if there are any reviews on the site girls are pretty honest if they are true to size or buy 3 different sizes and return the ones that don't fit for a little extra shipping you have no worries they are after all for your wedding. But if you need shoes just for walking around the resort in your dress get a pair of flip flops from Old Navy or something and make it simple for yourself...I saw someone suggested Nina great shoes but usually have a high heel and sizes change with styles ( I have 5 pair and none fit the same)

Hi Heather,

Have you tried that fancy shoe store in the Southland Mall yet (can't think of the name of it right now)? You might pay an arm & a leg, but I know they have super comfy strappy heels.

I've bought stuff online from Naturalizer (went to Saskatoon to see the styles in person then bought my size online) and I've heard the Canadian Zappos.com had decent shipping rates.

The Shoe Company may have something too, they've got their store in the east end and you can buy online (and get airmiles too!)

Hope that helps,

Thanks everyone for so much advice on shoes and where to buy them from. smile159.gif I checked out the Ebay site where Amanda bought her's from and I found a pair that I love on there. They are so pretty. I'm thinking that I will order them, they are just a simple pair of flip flops with rhinestones on them.

I don't want anything to fancy or with heels, I'll fall all over the place and I'm already 5'9, so I will be way too tall.

YAY!! Glad I could help!!
And for your concerns with size - if you fluctuate between sizes (I'm a 7.5 or an 8 ) then go with the larger size. If flip flops are a bit too big that's ok, but you don't want your feet hanging off the ends! Or with ebay, you could always ask for a measurement from the shoe itself - get full length measurement or for thong sandals get from the base of the thong part to the heel. Then you can measure your own foot & see what you would need!!

Please post pics!!

I knew you would want to see pictures. :)

Here is my first choice, Francis and I both like the silver, because the add a bit of spunk.

Here is the other pair [look fimiliar?] LoL. However, they have a two inch wedge, so I think it would make me way too tall. Plus, I can't imagine walking around drunk in them, I don't have the best balance to begin with. :P

Yes...vaguely familiar!! I obviously love the second pair (as they were my second choice for my shoes!) but I was looking for a heel. Since you are not, then I would go for the first ones! I really like them!! They are a bit dressy, but still comfortable & practical! (and low enough you should fall in them - well...because of the shoes anyway!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
