Oops, I had promised to post photos when we got back from our June 29th wedding. Here is the link to the slideshow Lincoln and Lori prepared for us! We received over 1100 photos on DVD, and LOVE them all!!! I'm having a really hard time choosing only 200 for our album :-)

I have just booked MTM for our March Wedding and although I have not worked with them yet, Lori & Lincoln are so easy to communicate with. They have taken time to answer all my questions and have always responded in a timely manner. I think their work speaks for itself, but it is always nice to have people with personality too.

I will let everyone know how it goes!

Hi Angela,

Sorry the Moon Palace does not allow any outside vendors onsite. We have had a bunch of Moon Palace brides and either did not cover their wedding or we did capture the wedding when they changed location. Some resort are not flexible on their outside vendor policy. Barcelo Maya is another resort that has been denying entrance to vendors but recently they have relaxed this policy. It seems to change from day to day so always best to consult the wedding coordinator at your resort before final booking!

Best of luck with all your planning.

I used Luz Maria Avila. For approx. $560 USD she did an amazing job. We got approx. 4 hours of shooting, 150 printed proofs in a beautiful black leather album, Hi-resolution CD and a musical photo montage CD just 3 days after our wedding!!!! Great editing (virtually no bikini clad strangers in the background. B&W, sepia, the works!! Very nice, very professional!! Highly recommended. See her website for some of her work.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
