I am using the hotel photographer...  I ll show you my picture when I will be back.  I also have one of my friend which he's very good so I hope we will get some good one!

Apparently there is more than one photohrapher at the hotel so I dont know....  I have seen some pics from the others and they were nice.

I got married in PDC in February at 4:30 pm and actually wished i had done it at 5pm as the sun was still really bright at that time so i was squinting in my photo's alot.  We had pictures from 5pm-6pm and the sun started to set close to six so we got some gorgeous photo's.  You can find info here http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/MMUN/2010/4/11/MonthlyHistory.html  for the sunrise and sunset times that happened this past year to get an idea of what would work for you.

Good luck and happy planning!

Thanks for the info.  I would love to see pics that the hotel photographer takes when you get back if you can post or email them.  I am heading there in 3 short months for my wedding, and am in the beginning of "panic" mode.

Thanks ladies!!

Have fun and congrats!

Hi Jessica,

I haven't been on the blog in a while... but I got married at OCT in August and used the hotel photographer.  Their photos were good however I am very disappointed with their customer service, they will try to rip you off any chance they get.  I am still having a hard time dealing with them and still waiting for my photos from 3 months ago.  I spoke to the Wedding coordinators (Ana & Arianna) about it, but the photographer doesn't work for the resort directly and there is nothing they can do about the situation.

So I hope all you brides keep that in mind... I wish I used someone else because of the headache they have cause.  This was and has been the only bad thing from my whole expirience at OCT.

Happy Planning!

Whitney  :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
