Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

We are also wondering about the evening entertainment, has anyone had a chance to research about the town of Puerto Morelos and what they have available entertainment-wise?... still waiting for Ana's email with the resort photographer's pics...

I haven't heard anything about the entertainment...I remember reading some things about it on either tripadvisor or bookit, but I can't remember exactly what was said...I can't wait for the February OCT bride to come back and tell us about the resort and her wedding!!

On another note, our wedding day has been booked for April 16th, 2009!! Yay!

Congratulations Map! That is awesome news :) we are really close to booking here as well, it will be so nice to finally book a resort!

I received a few pictures (4 of them to be exact) from the resort's photographer. I'll try to post them on here. Personally, I don't think the pictures are the greatest, I'll try and ask Ana again if there's any other way around this...

The photographer's prices are ridiculous as well!! 450 ish for 30 pics. 770 ish for 60 pics. The photographer's I found in cancun charge anywhere from 600 for 3hrs of unlimited photos(plus you get them on a CD..all of them) and there's an amazing photographer (the minister that I hired..her husband) that has a 3 hr package for 800 ish...Don't forget about hiring a minister off the resort..it's cheaper. There are cheaper ones but mine is 350 plus 70 for a day pass. only $30 cheaper than the resort but she speakes english and seems really nice.

I am still waiting for Ana to reply to my messages to put together finishing touches..she's a little pokey with the replies but she seems nice!! LOL

Thanks

Good luck Kaycee!!!! All the reviews that I am reading lately are really good..you'll have a great time. Let us know how it went when you get back.....

Re: Photography....got an e-mail from Ana regarding hiring a photographer off site..she said there is a 70 day pass plus a 200 fee for using an outside vendor. A little ridiculous but might be worth it compared to the work and price of the on-site one. found a couple good ones in Cancun if anyone wants their contact info, let me know.

Have a great week girls, Shelley

Have an awesome weddingmoon Kaycee!

Thank you for the photographer info Shelley, I am interested in using Cancun Photography, their prices are very reasonable :)

Out of curiousity, did any of you specifically choose one side (ocean vs. turquesa) for your guests' accomodations?

No I haven't heard from her, will let you know what she says...

But I think she is holding Dec. 16, 2009 for us! yay!

Are any of you ladies having a symbolic wedding? We have decided to do that instead and have a civil wedding here after (if that is possible?, not sure if we would need to do it first)...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
