Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if Ariel/Cynthia are quick to respond? I've never dealt with them but I emailed about a week ago and still have not had a reply. Just wondering of this is normal for them or just because Daniel left? Thanks

Hi Everyone,

I have a question for the recently past Brides of Ocean Coral and Turquesa. I was reading a a review from a few years ago and it said that once the party stops by the pool bar at night, the sports bar is open all night and has food and dancing. Is this true?

I was just wondering because I wanted to pay for extra hours for our wedding but if they have dancing and food there all night I don't want to waste my money when we can just all head over there once the wedding is over.

Thanks for your help in advanced! :)

I emailed over a week ago and have not heard a thing! Maybe we were just spoiled by Daniel, who would get back right away, multiple times a day! I guess we just have to cross fingers and hope for the best!

I've had the same problem. I've also tried calling and I haven't been able to talk to anyone. :(

I'm at the resort right now. They only have Cynthia and Areli working in the wedding department and they have 3 weddings a day.

Just an observation:

Yesterday they had 2 receptions side by side on the 2 terraces. Not something I liked so if you don't want to share I would ask Cynthia what other weddings are going on on your day and where.

So weird that people are having a tough time getting a hold of them at the resort ...

I have heard back from our new planner and usually takes no more than 2 days to respond. Maybe they are just dealing with the weddings that are coming up before the ones that are taking place in the New Year??

I only have another month to go!! Eeek!

Once you recieve your first e-mail things should go smoother. I know have my questions answered after 2 days. :) Not as fast as Daniel.

I also had to use the following email address groups.hpc@oceanhotels.net

Hope it helps :)

I have a question about the complementary wedding packages using the room upgrade. It says that you need to book a privilege or Dulexe jr suite room. Air Canada vacations is telling me that there is no such thing as a Dulexe jr suite. Anyone have any ideas? TIA

Sorry jumping in. It's possible that AC doesn't have access to some room

Types and maybe that is why they are saying that ?! For our resort my sister wanted the large connecting rooms for her teenage kids but AC has no 'privilege' to book those so my sister has to ask for the upgrade at check in. Just a thought.

Wonderful! thanks so much. That thought never even crossed my mind. I'll contact the resort and see what they have to say :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
