Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

whereabouts in BC are you from? I am from Vancouver Island, and am considering Ocean Turquesa as it is one of the resorts that have more reasonable rates, everything just seem so much more expensive flying out of the west coast/Vancouver sad.gif and I really like the look of the resort, so hopefully everything will work out!

I am in the Okanagan, but both of our immediate families are in Victoria, and the price point is exactly why we are going with the Ocean Coral/Turquesa...that, and my TA has a collegue who had a bride get married there last month and said it was AMAZING!

Hi everyone, I received an email from Ana with answers to some of my specific questions..

1)Your Coral package includes a private dinner reception in the banquet hall. We are having 20 people and is it possible to have the reception in a different location? We would prefer outdoors, by the pool, or the outside lobby. yes, you can , but there will be an extra charge for having out door, the charge is $27 usd per person..for the whole group.

2)Do you also provide a dance floor, and/or sound system? yes, we do provide the sound system, but dance floor is not include.it will be extra.

3)Do you also have a price list you can email to me for additional items such as flowers for the ceremony, bouquets for the bridesmaids, etc.? find attached the example and prices.

4)Does your resort have a photographer? yes, we do have on site photographer..find attached the information.

... If any of you are interested in their photographer's price list, I will try to attach it on here. I just emailed her again asking for sample pics of the photographer's work, unless some of you have them already? Hopefully she responds soon.

Silentderra- I am in Kamloops...so I guess not technically the Okanagan...but close enough :)

bcbride- I would love to see the on-site photographers sample pics if Ana sends you some! I was planning on using a photographer from Cancun, but Ana told my TA that they don't allow external photographers unless they are a family member with your group.

I now have a wedding date...hooray! And tommorow we will be booking our trip with Signature! In 24 hrs I will officially be an OTC bride!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
