Was wondering if you had any pictures of hair & makeup that you wouldn't mind sharing?? I wanted to show my bridal party examples of the resort salons work so they can decide if they want to go that route or do their own.

Hey ladies does anyone know if Oceans T&C have options for wedding favours that you can order?? Specifically thinking of little tequila bottles....

The thought of bringing a whole bunch of wedding favors down with me is scary, so I was thinking maybe they have some options there??

Sure thing, I'll send you a picture tonight when I get home from work.

 

The resort's salon staff was amazing... did 3 of us for hair and makeup within 2 hours and we all looked amazing!

So I talked to Daniel & he said they don't have the tequila bottles through the resort, but he sent me some info about a store nearby that does sell them. He said you would have to go as soon as you arrive though to order enough I guess?

not sure if theres another company to outsource in the area either?

I think im just gonna do the tequila bottles at the reception we're gonna have here...Its pricier, but I don't really want to be shopping for wedding supplies on the trip.

Let me know if you find a company there that you can order from in advance.

Jill, we made custom labels for mini Patron bottles, got a quantity discount for them from our local liquore store, and brought them down there in our luggage. Check your airline allowance for liquor, but you will more than likely be under it (we were- with 45 mini bottles) Also, I have my template I made for the labels if you want to use it... here is what we did :

That's a good idea! I saw them at the liquor store, so where did u print the template at? I thought I'd have to do tags attached but I like that idea too...I work at vistaprint so I wonder if there's a way to print something up there...

We attached tags with everyone's name and table number, and used them as place cards. I just bought Avery perforated tags that have a hole already in them, and used a template for those online...added everyone's name, etc. then tied them to the bottles with hemp rope when I got there (didn't want the tags to bend in transit)

I made the template for the labels, I have it on my computer, I'll have to email it to you. Email me at sarah8196 @ gmail.com

 

To make them, I cut them out, and used Modge Podge to put them right over the original Patron Label. It didn't take too long and everyone LOVED them. We did a tequila shot toast at the reception, and the hotel provided us with shot glasses and limes for everyone.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
