Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the resort can supply extension cords? I would assume so, but just want to be safe. My fiance and I are bringing a few digital photo frames down and I just want to make sure they will be able to be plugged in on the lobby terrace.
The projector and screen rental is about $350 through the resort, so we prefer to just bring our own digital frames to play slideshows and pictures around the reception.

Leahbecker- thank you so much for your well wishes I am sooo excited I can barely stand it! I will be sure to write a review as soon as I am back in Canada and at home but prob won't be until the end of January beginning of February. For all you girls stressing out, believe me when I say I know exactly what you are going through! I can't speak for Angelica but I know Ana has been much more accessible to me in the last few weeks, as our wedding got closer, thank goodness! All the best and happy planning, girls and guys! Ill be sure to keep you all posted!

Hi Ladies!

Wondering if some one could help answer a question about the wedding Registration form. I figure i would get a quicker answer from someone here who has already filled it out. The part that reads "under which marital property system you want to be married"? A) Community property system or B) Common Law property system.

We are doing a legal ceremony. Can someone please tell me what these mean and which i should be choosing.

Thanks so much! :)

I am getting Married at OCT March 26th and I have been waiting to get a reply from Ana but have not received one for weeks with answers to my latest questions. If anyone could help that would be amazing!

1.) I am still waiting to hear back about booking a welcome dinner for all my guests staying at the resort for March 25th.  Please let me know the different options.

2.) I am bringing my own centerpieces and I have purchased some tulle for the gazebo and the chairs and I have favours I want put on the tables.  Do I have to set these up myself or will staff members to this.

3.) Do you have organza table overlays in a light blue or teal color?

4.) What colour table clothes are available?

5.) What are the round table sizes that I can choose from so I can order my own runners and covers if I need to?

6.) Can I bring some decorations to put on my wedding cake?

7.)  When do I get to meet with you to finalize all the details? Can we book it for the day of my arrival on March 24th.

8.) Are their speakers available to hook up my iPod up to on the beach for the ceremony and at the reception in the evening?

9.) Am I able to hang paper lanterns around the lobby terrace?

Anyone who has answers to any of these questions I would love you help!

hi I asked this as well and didn't receive any definitions back but was told they are both considered legal in the US. We selected common law since that is the more dominant property system in the US. Hope this helps :)

If anyone could help that would be amazing! 1.) I am still waiting to hear back about booking a welcome dinner for all my guests staying at the resort for March 25th.  Please let me know the different options. I was told there was two options in the buffet at either 6 pm or 9 pm.   2.) I am bringing my own centerpieces and I have purchased some tulle for the gazebo and the chairs and I have favours I want put on the tables.  Do I have to set these up myself or will staff members to this. They will set them up for you.   3.) Do you have organza table overlays in a light blue or teal color? They get them from Planner 1 for an extra cost. I am not sure of the colors but they supposedly have a lot of options.   4.) What colour table clothes are available? Standard is white there are other colors available from planner 1   5.) What are the round table sizes that I can choose from so I can order my own runners and covers if I need to? I asked too and the response was 8-10 people... They didn't answer the dimensions :(   6.) Can I bring some decorations to put on my wedding cake? Yes   7.)  When do I get to meet with you to finalize all the details? Can we book it for the day of my arrival on March 24th.  I was advised we would meet the day we arrived. She asked for our arrival time but haven't gotten confirmation yet.   8.) Are their speakers available to hook up my iPod up to on the beach for the ceremony and at the reception in the evening? Yes to both.   9.) Am I able to hang paper lanterns around the lobby terrace? I just asked this too :) waiting for a response Anyone who has answers to any of these questions I would love you help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
