Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

Chose my BM dresses and thought I would post a pic as it took me forever to find "The Dress" and was searching EVERYWHERE for a nice beachy dress in the exact shade of Tiffany Blue:)  They are $199 each at the Bridal Center in Calgary but I found them for $140 on houseofbrides.com.  YAY!!!  cheer2.gif

They are Alexia 2972 in the color Tiffany.

@leahbecker

Thanks!  They were so helpful, I feel bad buying them off of houseofbrides.com but my BMs are buying their own dresses so I am trying to accomodate them as best I can.

You are getting married on my 29th birthday!!  W0o0o0o0!  msnparty.gif  Its a lucky day:)

So many Calgary brides on here!  I love it!!

Hello ladies,

I haven't been here in a long time but wanted to share some of our progress. I found my dress! YAAY! I also chose the BM dress (it's the one on the left) and at David's Bridal they call this color "Coral Reef". So our wedding colors will be "coral reef" and light yellow.

I've been searching for centerpieces as well. As many other brides here, my fiance and I are trying to save as much as possible so I might do something very simple. Here are a few ideas I found on Pinterest :)

Also, for the brides asking about the DJ provided by OCT I only found one comment (not sure exactly what page, sorry) that mentioned him. The bride said that he was awesome and everyone enjoyed the party. Apparently you can send him a playlist a couple weeks before the wedding and he will incorporate that as well. His name is Nico Cano and email direccion@cavmex.com.mx .

Happy Planning everyone! cheer2.gif

Hello fellow brides!

I thought I would attach the OCT 2013 wedding packages list and decor list from Planner1 Events (this is the company OCT refers you to) for anyone who doesn't have it.  I also posted a link to a slideshow of what the resort offers if anyone is still on the fence about choosing OCT.  Happy planning!  Cheerscheers.gif

Hi andecker ~

I haven't quotes with Ana yet so I would LOVE to check out the info she sends you.

That would be really awesome if you could share that with me :)

Thank you so much!

@ajhutch ~ I really love those dresses! Just checked out David's Bridal to see your BDs dresses in begonia and I liked it a lot!

  I'm a big fan of bright colors for a beach/tropical wedding :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
