As for changing options youbdefinitely can. Some things do have another charge, you just have to ask for what you want and make sure you get detailed pricing in writing before you head down there. I upgraded my bouquet and that was an extra fee.

@qupid you can bring your own decor And they will set it up for you

Hi Josie -

I've requested Dahlias and have been quoted $100 extra. I'm also doing buckets of flowers at the ends of the aisles that will then become the centrepieces...they're about $45 each, but they haven't been very helpful in showing me options for what they'll look like, so i have been sending pictures.

Hello ladies!

My fiance and I are getting married at OCT, April 29, 2013! We're going to be there from April 22 to May 1, for a Civil Ceremony! I'm so excited, words cannot describe! I've sent our my Passport STD, with amazing response - 59 said yes! I'm currently working on my Boarding Pass Invites - RSVP not required!

We chose the Paradise package, because of the number of people are going. Quick question: If they have sashes there already, do they still charge $3/sash, or is it only if they have to bring in colours?

@guilaine87 I think we're going to be wedding buddies! When are you arriving at OCT?

Hello,  I am getting married on 05/09/13 at OCT and I have a couple of questions I was hoping you might be able to answer. I noticed you said you paid for an extra hour for the reception how much extra was that? Also are you doing your own centerpieces or are you getting them through the resort? I have asked Ana a few times for pricing on centerpieces with no response. Do you have pricing info for Foto Take It because I was not able to find any on the website. Last question, do you know when the final payment for the wedding is due? Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to provide!

Hello OCT Brides! I'm back after taking a long hiatus from wedding planning. I have six months to go and I am so overwhelmed. I feel like I am missing something. Are you ladies creating your own centerpieces? I have decided to experiment with creating my own centerpieces, since I am over my budget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
